The last season he was double-covered each play and couldn't really do much....he sorta' got to be too good.

And that double-coverage opens up opportunities for the other guys. So he still contributed greatly even though he may not have put up as much yardage.

Honestly I don't think Milt was drawing much double coverage last year.

Bombers were active yesterday.

* Edmonton Eskimos have traded defensive end Fred Perry to the Winnipeg Blue Bombers in exchange for defensive back Kelly Malveaux.
* BC Lions deal 33-year-old offensive lineman Kelly Bates to Winnipeg on Thursday for a conditional pick in the 2011 CFL Canadian draft. (Anyone wanna bet it is a first round pick? Kelly may well be a hypocrite.)

Kelly has managed to almost completely remake this team. Not sure what to expect this season. But Kelly will be 100% responsible. No blaming Taman. No blaming Berry. God help us if Kelly is another Reinebold...

Yes. He sh1te all over Taman for how the Bombers managed their draft picks. He was most ungracious in fact.

He frequently traded them away. Mostly first round picks anywho.

Maybe he has only 5 starts I think and he looks good but so have others . Kelly is taking a huge gamble here , think it boils down to his way or the highway.

I think it can only go 2 ways, either he's a genius and the Bombers dominate this season or he's a total failure and the Bombers are in the basement. I don't think there's going to be a middle ground where we go 9-9 this season.

Went to training camp today. The QB Hackney is overweight but still looks great. Awesome arm strength and great accuracy. I've never seen so many people at training camp there was at least 500 people in the stands!
