We already have 3 points, and a 1st down and our 3rd string quarterback has taken over from our 2n string quarter back, and my close friend in Toronto has bet Toronto, who were favoured by 4 points.
No qback, no action, 12 two downs and a punt. This is so painful. Why don't we hire a quarterback? I hear Kevin Glenn is available. He was a 2nd string quarter back but better than Lefors.

If I were you, I'd stick to using your imagination and imagining Winnipeg wins.

I mean really; when is the last time Winnipeg had a overall successful sports franchise that came in first in anything ( outside of the university and college amateur leagues)?

The Moose were first overall in the AHL last season.

So is this the reason why people are trying to keep the NHL out of Winnipeg? Razz

Nice post. What the frick has that got to do with the price of tea in China? And you get totally miffed when someone else sh1ts on Winnipeg...

Perhaps I was wrong about Kelly since Winnipeg is losing so much? Maybe if we had some decent coaching and salary allowance available for decent players, we could attract a winning team?

Gary Bettman and (maybe debatable and only to a certain extent) Mark Chipman.

Yeah, you were wrong about Kelly. I look forward to his excuses this time. At least he pulled LeFors. But I don't blame LeFors, he is in over his head. Randall looked every bit as bad in his one quarter. Willims showed a little promise.

Bombers are in BIG do do if we can't come up with a good QB. BIG TROUBLE!

Just expressing my opinion like Freeman, yourself and everyone else. So gang up on me if you feel like, but take close note that I was raised in a family of Ukrainian women, and I speak my mind and don't back down from anyone; it's part of my heritage, lol.

Wrong. There is a salary cap in the CFL which every team in the league spends either the exact amount or go over it a bit. Money isn't the issue with the Bombers.

Then what is the issue? Why haven't the Bombers won a Grey Cup in 20 years?

3 first downs? damn it I must have missed one! lol
Maybe they will replay it on sports centre? Ha, ha, ha! ouch the pain!
This game , where they award a movado watch, they should give it to our punter, who ran down field after he punted and tackled the bad guy who was threatening to pick up the ball!! ha, ha, ha,
3 first downs, 25 yards passing after the 1st half! Wow!
they interviewed kelly who said he is wrking on making the Bombers the force they were back in the 80's when they had a great defense! lol, the pain!

You mean Kelly wants to limit the scores to 3-0 for the opposing teams?

The offence got 48 yards total in the first half!!!

Randall sucked big-time!!!

Williams seemed to perform imho.

I hope Kelly has enough nards to go with him in the future. If not, he needs to buy a Harley to ride outa' town on....

I caught part of the Saskatchewan and B.C. ? game today.
Very interesting concept they had- getting a first down for moving the ball forward more than 10 yards with 3 tries! Does anyone know if this concept is going to be introduced to Wpg?
Sad, when the most exciting play of the game is when your punter runs down after a punt to tackle the US new guy who is waiting too long to pick up the ball. Rumour has it that the punter did a fake punt later. Did our punter win the Movado watch??

Apparently the Bombers are in talks with Printer and Bishop! I am glad Mike Kelly is able to swallow his pride and admit Lafors is the shits.

LeFors and the rest of the offence are paying the price of an inept coach. Now that inept coach is blaming the environment (fans and media) for the poor performance of the offence.

How completely moronic is that? This man has no bounds to his pompous arrogance does he?

Here is something Kelly should consider: Better to be thought a fool than to open one's mouth and remove all doubt. Time for Kelly to shut up and get on with the job. He has won no friends in Winnipeg with his mouth.

Bishop is on the way. Too bad he has a million dollar arm with a 10 cent brain! At least he can throw a ball farther than 10 yards. He usually has alot of success throwing the ball deep, but commits a lot of turnovers. I think are defense might be a good match for Micheal Bishop. Only time will tell I guess.

And Grumpy I agree with you on Kelly now, he should just shut his trap.

And who hired Mike Kelly?

While we're at it, who hired Doug Berry, Brendan Taman, Jim Daley, and Dave Ritchie? How many eggs does Bauer have to burn before the teflon wears off?
