Meanwhile back in blackrodlandia.......would anyone hazard a guess, an ejjimacated guess as to what may have been offered to the Black Rod by CJOB? It was most likely not monetary in nature given the cheapness of that station ( not applicable to Adler's salary however).....

That notion is good for another discussion unto itself as in where do we draw the line at "we do it for the exposure". I believe it is safe to assume that in the case of the turned-down OB' offer it was because of a no-money situation. For all of his/her huffin and puffin' the BR could have expanded upon that issue....would add to their credibility perhaps?

its pretty hard to be off topic these days when it comes to things like this. anyone dig into the ethnic origin of the crooks who ran crocus? i knew long time ago. didnt surprise me a bit. when you see the word "gold" in a surname of an individual, you know right away.

Gold? as in Goldenblat? or Goldstein or Goldberg. What is wrong with that? Those are classic German names.

FYI; Jews = a people's religion, just like Christians = a people's religion. Since Jesus Christ's religion was judaeism and his teaching followed that to some degree, that would make all christians quasi-jews.
But myself, I consider myself to be Canadian first, Christian Second, Quasi-Jew third, Sith fourth.

Apparently many of the media are certain of his identity but lack any solid evidence. Walking into the studio on Portage avenue would have given him up immediately. If did a call-in hook-up then many in the media would recognize his voice. He desires a print media forum and as much as he wanted the gig - he just couldn't do it. And the papers won't let somebody write anonymously so he's limited to the Black Rod until he gets the courage to come out. If it is Marty - that shouldn't be too long off.
