This award is based on a combination of every internet forum that deeals with Winnipeg issues. Examples of these forums include the Sandbox, Skyscraperpage.com, the "Darkside", Winnipeg Topix, and to a lesser extent, ewinnipeg.com.

2009 Winnipeg Forum Member of the Year Trophy




GRUMPY OLD MAN

Winnipeg needed an alternative popular forum, since the "other" forum seemed to have a Monopoly on discussion on Winnipeg based issues and events. In September 2008, the Winnipeg sandbox came into existance. In 2009, the Sandbox overtook the "other" forum in post count and popularity.

Thanks, Grumpy. Long live the Winnipeg Sandbox, the best Winnipeg internet forum in the city!!!
