Very interesting interview!
I agree with Black- his whole trial was pretty ugly regarding getting justice, especially when the prosecution turns a lying lyar for evidence of wrong doing.
Under Black the companies involved were worth big money, and after the accountants were put in charge to run things , the accountants took all the money and ran the company into the ground, so it was worth nothing. The accountants got their $12 per hour (lol).
If Black had been found guilty in canada he would be getting out on parole- 1/6 for serving. He may not get out alive with 5 more years to serve.
Guilty , but we certainly miss him! One of the few people in Canada that are worth writing about! Next in line in Dion! (Celine)

Wow after reading that article I want to go to jail! That prison sounds pretty cushy.

I don't have much time for Conrad Black, but I will give him credit for him taking on the teaching job. As a history teacher he is very well qualified.

humilty isn't learnt. He is known for his aloofness, better than others, because of his wealth.

I was wondering if that word was humility or humidity. Both work. Black could certainly learn a little humility. Black is also full of hot air...

Yes but when you eat fine food you tend to be full of air.

Is our Canadian system fairer, having people out on bail pending exhaustion of all appeals? I say yes!
Conrad Black applies to trial court for bail pending appeal.

If he wins his appeal, then he would have spent a year in prison , being innocent! What kind of stupid, mean system does this illustrate?
"The trial court in Chicago has already agreed to bail for Black's co-defendant John Boultbee – whose case is being reviewed under the same decision.'
