Pretty scary costs $117,000,000 and he could have paid the money back, forget the lawsuit and have $111,000,000 left for the company!
There is no justice in this lawsuit at all. With Conrad Black running the company the shares were what? $45? and after they took control away from him the auditors put in charge drained the whole company making it virtually worthless.
The auditors billed millions and millions to run it into the tank!
I think Black was found guilty regarding removing some of the files, when he was under a court order to stay away- That was the part that was so stupid on his part, because $6,000,000 is really chicken feed when you compare it to Enron's billions.

The real problem was that Conrad Black wanted to hire a different lawyer, but that the lawyer of choice was not available at the time! had he been available , Black would have beeen able to have the charges thrown out!
