The 7th win, 2 in a roll where our Jets skated, back checked and put in a full 60 minute game!
Wow was that entertaining!
What a great thing for Mayor Katz to have gotten the Jets back to Winnipeg! lol

I hope the Jets keep Jaffray on the active roster.
1. He is getting more ice time.
2. He may not be the most talented player on the roster but he serves as a reminder to the other guys that the coach is willing to go to the farm if they don't play their "A" game.
3. He just may be the teams good luck charm.
Now that I said that I hope they don't stink the joint vs. Philly.

We don't care if the Jets lost against Detroit. They're doing great so far and are gonna continue improving. The back-to back home & away travelling schedule in the NHL is unfair when you play the second game against a team which had the first day off. Yeah, I know, in the WHA they even played 3 games in a row, Friday-Saturday-Sunday, but they never left the building and played against the same team in all 3 games.
The NHL should avoid this, since watching a fresh team go out and romp a tired team doesn't attract fans or TV audiences.
Just my 2 cents.

Fresh versus traveling tam , hopefully evens out, but in the interest of a better hockey game for the fans, should be eliminated id possible.
It is sort of like having practising Doctors working a 24 hour shift. Who the hell thinks they are getting good service from an exhausted Doctor?
