You might want to consider a different name, lest someone think you're associated with the Canadian Action Party. They're mostly known for backing wingnutty conspiracy theories, and a founder and figurehead who accuses the US of hiding alien technology and George W. Bush of plotting an intergalactic war with a forward base on the moon.

When you Google "Manitoba Action Party", the Canadian Action Party page I linked to - full of North American Union and NAFTA Superhighway wingnuttery - is the first search result. The second result if you don't include quotes. That's the sort of thing that could give a new party credibility problems.

Forming the party, creating a website, and doing some search engine optimization on it would solve the confusion.
Where is the wingnuttery?

If so, they've done an excellent job of enforcing secrecy. There's nothing in the Google News feed from any accredited news source about it. The last post on their Facebook page is from May 2nd, and it's a repost of their only other post from the previous month. Their platform, policies and politics are also still highly classified. Their post on Facebook is limited to the sort of generic boilerplate you see from ANY opposition party from the far left to the far right.

- Both parties appear to consist of nothing more than a few blog posts.
- Neither appear to consist of more than one person. One anonymous person. No candidates.
- Both (Manitoba Action Party briefly had a FaceBook page) have as a platform the entirely generic stuff that you'd find in any party anywhere on the political spectrum. (The Conservatives are trying to score points with "a stronger emphasis on consumer protection." So are the NDP and Liberals. All promise to be non-partisan, and to bring change.)
- Both parties appear to have had the person behind them entirely lose interest at the start of April.
But as mentioned above, cobragt didn't specify a year. We're almost half way to April 2014!
