I called her campaign HQ and asked if it was true that car theft wasn't a crime. The lady that answered the phone was speechless...literally. She finally said that she would get Anita to give me a call.

I can't wait for a response.

I just got a call from her Campaign Manager, or, at least, that was who he said he was. He thanked me for pointing out the typo and apologized. He said it was supposed to say make it a more serious offence.

I didn't want to yank his chain so I left it at that.

Sounds like Kennard and Steen don't like debates and town hall meetings ah lack of experience . Still like Kennard better then Anita she is the old guard and it is time to step down so new blood can come in.
Same with Malloway has been at the public trough for how many years maybe it is time for a change of the stripe in Transcona as backbenchers rarely get much for their riding .

I believe Kennard and Steen (and many others within the Conservatives) have been muzzled. I've seen Kennard in action and he'd do a very good job in a debate. And I especially like his chances versus Neville. She'd nod off. He'd speak. No contest.

A debate between Neville and Kennard would be a riot....but painful to watch if you were a Liberal.

This close to the poll, it's no wonder that the HQ want their people to not fumble the ball with slips of the tongue, imo.

Why would any conservative attend a debate at the U of W, the bastion of socialism? Its not like you're going to convince anyone to change their vote from the left are you, so might as well keep door knocking where it counts.

Judy Whatshernamewitheveryletterinthealphabet can certainly focus on the NDP "Agenda" (Tax and spend), because they never have to worry about implementing any of their policies (Thank God). Jack Layton only appears in commercials in shirt sleeves cause he only owns plaid sports jackets. The guy comes across like he's selling you a old chevy.
