I agree....I used to attend the GCWCC meetings and came out of them feeling like my time was being wasted, our needs not being heard etc...

It seems that the cc system is built on the Peter Principle, promoting people to their own level of incompetency. It seems that most people who are "promoted" in the system must suffer from a Napoleonic complex and forget who it is that they are supposed to serve. What really pisses me off is that everyone can see it, but no one wants to deal with it.

I think that the cc's would be better served without the crap of district boards, who have no authority, but think they do, and GCWCC which is a repository for people who serve no useful purpose.

Thats why, ignoring the evangelical issue for the moment, its refreshing to see an organization like YFC trying to do something.

Listening to the radio today I heard a woman say she was pissed about all the backroom deals and nonsense that is going on at city hall.

She questioned how this deal (YFC) came from out of nowhere last week and got approval today....for millions.

She mentioned the garbage bin debacle as another example. First it was to save millions and now it will cost millions.

Also, a couple of other things that I too, find to be questionable were mentioned.

I thought, wow...I like this woman....

It was Judy Wash-a-stuff. I don't know what to believe now. Shocked

SHe's supposed to be my MP, but she's introducing a private members bill, but she never asked me. Same bullshit.

We elect people to take care of things, let them take care of it. Just because I don't agree with something, doesn't mean I have to be consulted.
