Usapegger...That's the whole point when you are trying to tap in a "NEW MARKETPLACE" and in the US...and...

And you go within a "US Marketplace area" where you think it may succeed within the US...and...

And not back to Canada which will do nothing in terms of adding to the US Marketplace and or mainly the TV Revenues generated which are also translated in fans etc...GGF

The entire reason for the expansion into the southern States was for that elusive big dollar TV contract and expansion dollars for the other owners.
The TV contract is not coming, ever. The NHL earns far more from TSN and CBC than it does from Versus and NBC.
Moving Phoenix to KC for instance will not do anything to change the above (imo)

no what I am saying is that you are a bloody idiot for constantly going on and on about THE USA MARKET!!!!... when pulling one team out of a non hockey area will not have any impact on THE USA MARKET in anyway. Fans in New York wont stop going to games and wont stop watching them on TV just because some team in the southwest no longer exists.

My friends and I think Bettman knows this, and is part of the reason he keeps our hopes alive by dropping hints of possible relocating to Canada or expansion in Canada.

I think Mr. Bettman is playing with Canadian emotions.
He knows some Winnipeggers would DO ANYTHING to join that elusive club (Own a big league franchise).
But I think moving a team back to Canada will be a last resort.
How many million did the Blackberry guy offer for the Phoenix franchise?
And the team still stayed in Phoenix.
