And then there are those who say we should let it happen first, then criticize it if we want. Same argument for another EvilDoer pet project...

Doer is showing more than ever why he is a bad premier, IMHO.

Triniman is there any thing you ever get on board with . Not that this is a slam dunk , but maybe done right it could work.

Okay, maybe my dislike of Today's NDP has caused me to rush my judgement.

I am on board with the new football stadium. Everything has to be lifecycled and the current stadium is no exception.

In your opinion, can you describe what "done right" would mean?

Can't the Conservatives possibly get someone good for the job and call an election? Is it that hard? Maybe folks will vote elsewise in the next election, providing there's someone good enough out there to vote for...

Sounds like Donothing is trying to find a way to pump provincial $$ into point Douglas. Maybe he could declare the North End a flood zone and buy out the homeowners.

Doer didn't become so popular with the unthinking masses by not giving out loads of cash. This is his way of buying those PD votes.

Point Douglas is NOT part of the North End.....we are not a flood zone either....that happens much further up on Scotia Drive.....Rover Avenue is a primary dike. Even during the flooding of 97' we were still safe due not only to the floodway but this important bit of engineering.

Pavolo, in my area the majority of homes are OWNED.....

Czar Doer has announced funding to re-do the field for the East Side Eagles Football Club. Is it just a coincidence that this is in his consistuency?

Again, Doer should only be getting involved in this sh1t if invited by Winnipeg.

Perhaps we make a new law: no photo opportunities be allowed ever for such things. Just the directly involved private citizens...

So what are you saying to all the families that worked hard to be able to afford the dream of a riverfront home? Sorry, but we're taking it now?
