I know...it seems almost ridiculous to say it...but I find it quite amusing really.

I don't mean you can't update just your IE...but any MS product. Word, Excel, etc. You get an error message telling you to use IE.

In their case? no.

I haven't tried the reverse...updating Firefox through IE.

I do know on a machine at home I installed Ubuntu (a version of linux) and had a b1tch of a time getting it off the machine.

To be honest...I couldn't get it to remove...I just bought a new harddrive and pulled the old one out. (now my sound card doesn't work...don't know why though).

I asked a couple of linux/ubuntu forums about how to switch back to WinXP...and all I got was a bunch of flack about "abandoning" the right way to use a computer.

You'd think if people wanted software to compete with Microsoft...they'd stop making it as annoying as Microsoft.

So, it seems that Nelson spent half a mil on this little escapade. So, anyone want to guess where he got the money from?

all money for ANY legal fights regarding rights comes out of a completely seperate special fund specifically set up to help natives fight in court for their rights.

OK, thats good to hear. A separate fund is a good idea, just as long as it doesn't come out of taxpayers money.

Yeah, I agree. Hey, wait a minute. I don't get it. Is this special fund funded from a non-taxpayer funded fund? Oh. Okay. That's okay then.

How long do you think it will be before fucktard Nelson threatens violence against non-aboriginals unless his demands are met?

A quote from the story:
Aboriginal leaders were disappointed with the ruling and were considering some sort of "direct action," according to Roseau River Chief Terrance Nelson.
It could be anything, but I believe we all know they will blockade something. A highway. Likely the rail line. In today's economic times, and with so many fed up with these antics, I expect the results could well be unpleasant.

The railroad could increase their speeds through some selected areas. That might work. Wink

Yeah, I'm sure he's whining and crying like the sniveling little baby he is.

Seriously, when are the people of that community going to send his loser-ass packing?

Yikes. Then that doesn't say much for the people of Roseau River First Nations, does it? Sad
