Because to look in the direction of an airport and see a plume of smoke is not a welcome site! Until you realize that it was not a plane that packed it in.

Yea but they do the sme here in town , and at most airports as it is to scrable crews . Break up the boredom so to speak , as one guy here told me . But I see your point as a pilot .

But its not like theres a lot of air traffic into Brandon anyway Come to think of it, not like theres much of any kind of traffic into Brandon.

They would often set an old jet on fire up at the pas airport, just so the fire response team could handle it...freakin cool truck they had that basically put the fire out on its own in about 1 minute.

In Brandon it probaly doubled as a combine so it did transform .
