Bannerman between McGregor and Powers , possibly.
I used to live at 482 Lansdowne , 465 Mountain Ave at Powers ,, and Cathedral and Powers in the firehall.
The area looks fine when you drive the street. The homes are in good repair.

They are saying Bannerman between McGregor and McKenzie. Think about the date yesterday and that may tell you what might have happening at that house last night.

As per government guidelines you must be below a certain income level to receive full child tax and if you look at the poverty level for the size of your family the income level is poverty or lower. There is a max level that you can be at and anything above that you won't receive anything, in between the lowest level and the cut off you will receive a portion.

C'mon, we used to get the child tax benefit, and we weren't low income. Just had many kids.

We used to get the benefit as well and we never considered ourselves low income (there are 5 of us) but we fell below a certain income level as outlined by the government so that is why we received it. Made for an awesome start up for the kids to go to university.
If you were to look at a government calculator to see what "class" you fall into according to your income level and number of family members you would be suprised to see where you fall as opposed to what you think you should be at. It's not what you deem yourself to be at but what the government does.

Just joshin' you. Never considered myself low income either. (There's 6 of us.) Four kids graduating within 2 years means student loans for post secondary.

Funny about referring to the 20th of the month. Having worked in the inner city, its one of the days in the cycle that we kind of plan on. No kids around, as there's money at home, but they'll be around in the evenings as the partying gets into full swing.

Living in/working in the north end/core area, you know when the "cheques" come out as student population drops off for 3 days after and the violence escalates & in the summer the noise for about 3 days after as well. I guess it comes with the territory.
