Agreed. They need to become more prominent. And they need to present real change.

In a nutshell, what is their platform?

Where do they stand on the BIPOLE III controversy?

This Jon Gerrard seems like a decent and honest guy, almost has a Jack Layton quality - why not vote for him?

Like the Liberal candidate in my riding (Motkaluk), but will probably vote Conservative.

Further to my post above, I fear if I vote Liberal, the hardcore left people are going to do more 'creative math' and claim that since more people did NOT vote Conservative than the other parties combined, that they'll have no business being in power.

Heh, the Green candidate in my riding lists his occupation as "Panhandler" on Facebook. Also, an arch nemesis from my past is running for the party in another part of Winnipeg.

Yeah, I think I'll stick with Conservative. That being said, my wife always jokes that she votes for the most attractive candidate. So maybe it's time to play that card. Let's see... who to choose... Wink

NDP candidate:

Conservative candidate (on left):

I don't have any party affiliations or preferences whatsoever, and as I am following the media coverage I see no distinguishing characteristics between the main parties - they all promise a lot of irrelevant stuff at a high price. Maybe it just comes down to the individual candidates - their personality, potential of integrity, and yes appearance and attractiveness.

This election campaign is starting to remind me of a W.W.E. promotion.
(We will promise any thing you want to hear as long as you show up & buy tickets.
Or in the case of elections - vote for me.) Sad

Unfortunately, none of the stuff they are promising is relevant or interesting to me. I guess I am not an average Joe Manitoba.

I wish one of them would have the guts to get rid of these stupid twice a year time changes. Would be great for business and health at a low cost.

I wonder if the 4 Million also covers staff for running the MRI hardware.
Or will the hospital be responsible for getting more money to staff it.
I wonder how many people in the Dauphin area would need an MRI anyway.
