Looks like there was a great turnout on Friday for the first day of advance voting. Seems even Good Friday could not dampen Canadians desire to vote.
There was a little bit of controversy though from the Catholic church about running these polls on a religious holiday.
Is this somewhat pompous of the church? Should the Catholic church limit Canadians desire to attend and vote? What about those that don't share the same beliefs or are atheist or agnostic?
