crazy times.

I now find myself in the extremely unenviable position of puking at the the ballot box and using my vote to help stem the orange tide...

Just curious but how so? I would have assumed your vote could only go one way no? I'm only asking out of curiostiy since I'm stuck with a similar dilema being unable to vote for who I'd like to vote for without helping out someone I'd rather not.

Gonna be an interesting ride tonight, should be fun to watch. Who said Canadian politics was boring?

In a totally unscientific observation in my quick drive through River Heights this morning anita neville signs greatly outnumbered any other sign.

well in my area. Its a VERY tight race between orange and red. IF I voted red I could actually stop an orangie... but then I would be voting red. I could also vote blue.. and many people MIGHT swing that way and it could make a difference.. but even then I would be voting against my conscience.

My biggest fear is that Harpers recent switching to attacking the NDP will backfire on him and people who were going to vote NDP will say..ah.. what was I thinking.. and vote Liberal.

Many Canadians face the very same dilemma!

I believe those disenfranchised reds that were considering voting orange will come to their senses and vote blue. I also believe it is this left split that may very well lead to a blue majority despite maybe having the lowest popular vote on record.

Hey Deano,

If you vote for the individual, it's a pretty clear choice, is it not? From what I understand, Kevin has been a pretty good representative at both MLA and MP level.

Kevin is a good person. Unfortunately I simply can not vote Liberal because of enabling Iggnatieff.

Iggie is in my opinion 100% of the reason for the Liberal downfall in polls.

Libs would have won a majority this time if they had the balls to fire Iggie one day into the campaign.

The Liberal downfall will continue until such time that they quit anointing their leader.
So Justin? yea.. you will screw it up
Bob? you will too.

It'll be another Conservative minority sadly.

And like you, Dean, I can't vote for Kevin. Honestly, if he ran independently, he'd probably have my support.

Totally agree.

Don't think so. I believe count iggy's miserable performance opened the door wide open for layton. Harper played a big part in that as well as harper has a way of alienating some people.

Not sure, but justin will likely be the next leader.
Agreed.

All you Conservative and Liberals haven't figured out that both of the above parties have taken turns wrecking the country!
I have voted for both of the above since the 1970's, after moving out of the North End, lol.
I just recently joined the C party, and then apparently had the gall to ask Fletcher a few questions by email.
No answer- so no vote! I don't think he has to worry, but he gets no vote from me this time.
With Harper over the last 1 1/2 years there are so many little things that he has done to bother me, that I think I will vote NDP, only so the NDP party gets my $2.

You really believe that most Canadians would vote for a party without a leader?

JTF- it could happen! Look how the Conservatives have managed without a leader!

They could have put someone else in that actually respected Canadians and YES people would have voted for them.
