What an election. Very historic night on many fronts. First, I'm thankful that we have a majority government that can now run this country, without fear of being toppled, until at least October 2015. Second, to the NDP...........wow. Over 100 seats? The most they ever had was 43, so they more than doubled their seat count. Impressive.
But my FAVORITE part.................the BQ. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!!
I am overjoyed that they have been almost wiped off the map. I have never believed that a seperatist party, representing only one segement of the population, has any business in Canadian federal politics. And what made me happiest is that Mr. Ducepp has lost his seet. Woot! I wish nothing but the worst for the BQ..........I despise them even more than the NDP. Thankfully they are no longer even at party status.
All in all.................I'm happy with the results.
