I am now out in Hope, BC cleaning up a gasoline spill on the Coquihalla hwy south of the old tollbooths. The weather is around 30 and will remain so for the next few days. Very summerlike out hia.

Why bother complaining about the weather? You can't control it may as well enjoy what mother nature throws our way! I am not thrilled with this cool wet summer but I will take this over -30!!!!!

This summer has been great, because the cool weather has kept the mosquitoes away. I didn't have to fix the holes in my screen in the gazeebo, and since DeanK fixed the door, wow, I can get in and out easy!
Some guy is coming to clean and repair my eaves troughs today, so it will be a lot cheaper to get them fixed than getting more Crown Royal and steak for DeanK to make a retur visit! lol

Lowered the apartment temp. from 29.3C to 28.7C.

Propagation was great right after the rain and was hearing mostly N. European CBers, had a QSO (chat) with "Marco Polo" in NW Germany.
I'm glad I restarted with the hobby.

I'm not going to enter thr fray about the weather, after all, weather is. But for some reason, I got a bitten by mosquitoes and the little bastards are leaving welts, and do they ever itch!! Are these the swine flu carrying kind of mosquitoes or what?

I am impressed at the way the city has cleaned the streets this year. Seems there was a change of policy. Roads cleaned to pavement. Snow banks removed or moved 2' from the curb. Nice...

I've noticed that also. They've plowed our sidewalk twice this year already. Last year it was plowed twice the entire year.
