People's Alliance for Democracry (our BQ equivalent), led the protest against P.M. Somchai Wongsawat, by occupying the offices of the P.M. for three months, and then the airports.
The Alliance was seeking to purge the influence of former PM Thaksin Shinawatra, accused of massive corruption and trying to undermine the country's revered King Bhumibol Adulyadej..
The Constitutional Court found Mr. Somchai's People's Power Party, the Chart Thai party, and the Machima Thipatai party guilty of election fraud in the Dec 2007 election.
Suparak Nakboonnam said Deputy P.M. Chaowarat Chandeerakul will become caretaker P.M.
Serirat Prasutanond said the airport will re-open shortly!
Saisuri Pantupradij (wearing yellow feather boas) danced at Suvarnabhumi International Airport, with 4 others!
