heh.. hit up Metro meats again this morning.

4 coils of the awesome suasage again. And a huge brick of bothwell cheese.

God that sausage is good and if it were not for MR P I would not have known about it.

I simply find it impossible to believe that anything can top this sausage. My dad thinks so too and he has been a Ukrainian far longer then me Smile

This sausage is so damn good you dont need teeth to eat it. Seriously. Take the most tender meat you can remember... this is more so.

hehe... I only ate half of it.. the rest was shared by other people in the company...ee gads the garlic smell is overpowering for sure.
overpowering is a good thing though

IMO Wpg Old Country, is a manufacturing business which sells to big business (i.e. Super Store and Safeway) where as the others are local butchers who cater to the local clientele. I have been dealing with European Meats for 40 years+ and before that my grandparents and have not found another butcher with better product in Winnipeg and I have tried them all. I actually ship the course garlic to friends in New Zealand at Christmas so that is how high the quality is. But this is just my opinion, humble as it may be.
