The cheapest 3rd level seats in Calgary are about $40

The second bowl ranges from $50-200.

The lower bowl STARTS at $150 and goes to about $250 per ticket.

"the hookers"
I thought we were putting the hookers on the bridge on Wellington crescent and call it "Wellington Hookers" so that rich out of towners could membership on their credit card and their wife/husband would not know its not a golf club?

Does anyone have an estimate of where the old prices for a Jets seat was in 1996 and what the new price might be?
In 1996 the salary was about $16 million and today would be , what $50 Million, an increase of appx $30 million Canadian. That alone is $15 per seat based on 40 games and 15,000. That doesn't seem to be out of line to me.

I paid around $1,400 for a season ticket in 1989. It was a great seat, 19 rows up on the blue line. I would expect a comparable seat today would cost $4,000...

Last year the NHL Salary cap was about $59 million and the floor was about $41 million.
This year I have heard the cap is going to be about $61 or $63 million.
I have not heard was the floor will be.

GOM, at $100 per seat for 40 games, are there 10,000 sales in Wpg? Rumour has it that the NHL will set 10,000 seats for 3 years as a requirement.
The papers are saying that Wpg's population has grown a lot since 1996.
My question is who has moved here? The rich and famous or the poor and North endy??
I sure would like to see the Jets back here.
They bring a lot of business' with them.
I can only imagine how much restaurant, room rental, house building, etc.

Looking at Edmonton’s 2009-10 prices, a season ticket in the lower bowl ranged from $4,300 behind the net to $7,100 along the side. That works out to between $105 and $173 per game.
Walking in prices $130 to $251 per game.
Calgary season prices between $107 and $162. Very close to Edmonton prices. Calgary walk in prices $151 to $235 per game.
I wonder if there will be any $7 tickets from 7-11? lol
