You have to wonder at what point does smashing your head against a brick wall start to hurt?

How many times do you make a new water plant and train new staff? Once every ten years? Twenty?

They never had many or any waterplants! Who decided that they should multply so fast making the area they built their homes an inadequate area? 16 per house with a small lake that has become polluted?
That seems to be the normal.

technically... that would even be incorrect. mother nature makes the best water plant and water filtration system. unless people start messing with her.. like say... dumping raw sewage straight into the lake instead of letting it filter from the ground.

for thousands of years travellers drank microbrew when they went some where because the alcohol content killed crap off in the local water.

Drinking local water was just not safe in Europe for a long time.
