Close to downtown so that the business men and women can go over on break?

near the airport to better serve travellers to and from our area as well as to have the planes cover up the noise?

In a quiet residential area so that the clients and workers dont feel like they are doing anything wrong?

Wellington Crescent, lots of big stately homes with plenty of rooms. The presence of high end automobiles would be less conspicuous.

Funny that you should say that.

Some years back, I did some work for a lady that lived on Wellington Crescent. She was "a mistress to many".

She lived a wonderful life.

....and NO...she paid by cheque.

good idea. It would bring much needed jobs into the area too!

I would go with, no area should have a brothel.

Right now they are illegal. Until that changes, why speculate?

Make them legal.....why should the sex trade be illegal? Get the gangs out of it, have regulations, health care and counseling.....I see nothing wrong with charging for one's "favours". After all if one was a cynic they could say that marriage is more or less the same thing.

Many women are legal prostitutes and don't even know it.

They get their payment in drinks, dinners, jewelery, rides in fancy cars, vacations, shallow compliments and hollow promises instead of cash in exchange for sex.

What???!!! All it takes is shallow compliments and hollow promises, why wasn't I told about this years ago?

which is exactly why prostitution is not illegal in Canada. We would be locking up anyone who has sex

It should be in the core area. Remember, it's all about downtown revitalization right?
Not sure how this would work in a city (other than Vegas) because people would be able to see who enters and exits the place. It's the privacy that makes prostitution a thriving business. Can't see it working otherwise.

Goth: It technically is legal. It communicating for the purposes of prostitution that is not. If you can hook up with a prostitute without communicating than all is good. Like I posted on my blog a few months ago "since any transaction requires communication to take place, the only way prostitution can legally occur in Canada is if the hooker stands outside and randomly f*cks people on the street in the hope that they pay her afterwards."

LOL,

A hooker could stand on the street selling condoms for $300 each. and then frick the guy for free. LOL

That is one way around the law, Ticket re-sellers could do the same. Sell advice and give away free tickets as a bonus. Advice on the upcomming sold out Led Zeppelin show $1000. Bonus free ticket front row center too.

The one precludes the other. If you're doing it in private, than most likely you're in an illegal bawdy house ... unless you're cold calling at people houses. "Good day sir. Sorry to disturb you. I'm selling blow jobs..."
