Not being an engineer myself (thats a hint), I'm not sure if it is viable, or even possible to have a seamless system where there would be no loss of pressure in event of a power outage.

After workin' in the electrical industry for (cough) years I can tell you that not only is it possible it is dead simple. It can be done and I'm surprised it is not.

If Generator doe,s not start water go,s down , and they do have a nasty habit of not starting . Our building has had it happened, tested 3 times a year so you never know . And all 3 or 4 generators have to start within seconds of one another to maintain pressure not that it can,t be done but are you willing to pay for it .
Most generators have to build up voltage also do they not , in other words they cannot take full voltage right away.

i#@! means content itext may seem sarcastic. Can't afford happy face apps fer .99 cents any ways.
The hats go to the hard workers who can understand anticipation to quickly team together when time is a ventured virtual consciderations of banding at this equipment malfunctions.
We most know that levels of water are indeed kneeded to sustain perpetual motions of electricity that powers up life savin sectors of grids, water levels drop, so does the time to monitor, a time needed to react and prepare. Very good job oh yes the wording may seem sarcastic at some points in my text to comments on, I, iwill always put an i#@ 2 let reading commenters the text may show a senable means of sarcasisms.
ihave two business ideaologies that prove benifit to doubt.
All free mind you, Water, the h20 services we need that provides this element to sustain the existance of our well being.
So, itoo should, iadd a idifferant irocky a new irealastate ithingy, isee all states to icompuserary to fit each home, homes, not HOLMES mind ya, but biz, homes with water fountains in house, yup why not? My rocks from space hold water like a imagnet, minds me of how crop circles made with a large lens to heat imbedd on the earth below, Hmmm, another time about that one, space coke now,not good, homes with h20 storage and purifiers. not new either.
