I agree with ya both. We created this forum because we did not want arbitrary and willy-nilly banning of members. We want to allow our members to freely speak their minds without fear of some lame ass jerk banning them.

We originally said that prior to banning anyone that we would put it to a vote by the sandbox membership. Those that bothered to "vote" - overwhelmingly voted for banishment.

I have elected not to permanently ban tick thinking second and third chances are preferred.

tick, you're on notice. There is not much that people can't say in the sandbox but use a modicum of common sense man...

At the risk of being unpopular, I like the guy(?). There is some wisdom what he(?) writes, but yeah, when he(?) crosses the line it is always in the most disturbing, indefensible fashion... (ref: Afghanistan, p*d*ph*lia, the Stalking Anny thread, etc)

Why do you think Americans sew Canadian flags on their backbacks when they travel overseas. Europe tends to be better at remembering history than North America.

I imagine history plays a role. Mostly it's because Americans behaviour is often boorish. Canadians are known to be polite and considerate and that results in a completely different attitude by the host country inhabitants.
