Well I an out and about still with my sandals, the ones that have a good snow tread!
I had to put on socks and boots on Friday for a funeral. That was enough with the socks for me. Very few people notice, except MizP did a couple of Sundays ago when we dined at Salisbury house. That was a treat ! Love their sodium packed junk food!

Its not the snow flakes east. Its the "tree" that pops out at the top.
The only way I have found around it is to click on a link, grab the scroll bar on the right hand side and scroll it to the bottom, and then back to the top. This seems to clear out the flakiness.

We had some record breaking snows out this way. Was in Jasper this weekend and was a winter wonderland. Edmonton got hammered with 15.-20 cm snow; Calgary got hammered too.
I'd be more than happy to share our bounty of white frozen water with you any day!

It went down to -45 without windchill last night. The air is so dense it can be painful to breath it in. Hopefully you guys don't get this crap!

We've got the uber-cold. We don't have much snow. I'll take it. Warming up though. Mid week will be -11 to -8ish. It'll likely snow then too.

3 feet in one dump is pretty brutal...even for Easterners who are fairly well acquainted with large dumps....afterall...they have Toronto eh.

Update: it actually got down to -46 with a windchill of -59 at Edmonton International, and had
the coldest recorded temperature on the entire planet last night! Good Lord!

We're getting hit by a Siberian cold front these days. Tuesday we're expected to get ENE winds of over 120 km/h and a temperature of about -5C just above the city. Snowstorms are hitting the rest of Italy, but we usually just get the cold temperatures. (cold? okay, "cool" , lol).

Yikes. And people refer to Winnipeg as the coldest place on the planet??? I think Edmonton gets that prize. I don't ever recall having a temp of -59 here in da peg.
