Good to have you back, Airt. Today was an adventure getting to work (by bus). The two buses before the one I took got stuck, and the bus I was on had to back up and take an alternate route.

I hopped on an earlier bus (6:30am) and was still fifteen minutes late this morning. I would have been even later if I hadn't gotten off the bus at Keewatin and Logan and walked the rest of the way to work. Ended up getting to work twenty minutes before the bus! Shocked

Left my place in West K at basically the same time as normal, 7:15 and got to Polo Park area at about 7:40 so about 5 minutes later than normal. What I did notice though is the same fools as last winter are still on the road driving like it was a dry summer day and making the already dangerous situation even worse. I have a hard time with people who think that my life doesn't matter so they blow their horn at me because I'm "driving for the conditions" and then blow by me and spray all the slush all over my car and anything else that is in their way.

I love it when a few blocks later I meet them at the next red light or even better when I see them in the ditch, waving for help and I can wave back and keep going. Slow down, you'll still get there safely.

My trip into the office took maybe 5 minutes longer. It would have been the same if all those slowpokes weren't in my way. After all I have four wheel drive and I can go anywhere... affraid

It was a little slow today. Had to take the car to the Hyundai dealer on Portage at Unicity. Wasn't too bad going against the traffic on Portage, but Route 90 was a bitch. Accident at Ellice and another at Ness. I have wet feet. I hate wet feet. I get really miserable when I have wet feet.

Actually, there is ONE MANITOBA MAPLE TREE right in front of the house where I lived on Leamen Crescent. Only the Mighty Goth would be able to find the right one.
