I'm sick of this crap already. Enough! I'm tired of shovelling. Even with my 4x4 I have to keep shovelling the drive so I can close my gates. It's getting really annoying every single day. :-(

Consider a shoveling service. $95/month. They come out after a certain amount of snowfall (1cm?). Usually the next morning in my case. They shovel my walks, driveway, front public sidewalk and to the curb. Good price.

Thanks for the tip, I'd actually consider that for next winter. I had no idea it was so affordable.

$95/month?

Per person?

For that...I'd do it...bring my snowblower & shovel out...I could do 10-15 homes per day easily by myself.

And the less it snows...the more money I make Smile.

The one guy who came by my place (because I hadn't shoveled yet), told me it was $25/visit. So if it snowed more than 4 times in a month...that's $100 right there.

Some of you are gonna get pissed for saying this but here it goes....I miss snow....not the cold though but I miss watching big fluffy flakes waft gently to the ground as I stare down my NPD street at the lovely elms that even without their leaves still look impressive....yeah, call me sentimental but I do enjoy snow.

Actually...I love snow too. The shoveling is a nuisance...but generally not a big deal (for me).

But I love hearing the crunch under my boots...and the opportunity to go sledding (especially now that my daughter loves it so).

The fact that at midnight...it's still light out, because the snow is reflecting everything.

Seeing little tracks through the snow where an animal has snuck out crossed an untouched field.

And when it's GOOD snow...the making of snowmen & snowballs and having a good day of fun.

I don't mind the snow....I just don't like the freezing temps with numbing windchill's.

With global warming we won't need to hire snow cleaners, but will have to continue cutting the lawn every 2 weeks.
