But if he is doing it right shouldn't she be moaning and screaming? Doesn't sound like peace and quiet to me! MB couple win $50 Million in LotoMax - Page 3 Lol

Something tells me dean wouldn't have a clue on how to excite or turn on a woman...I feel sorry for his wife.

Why are you laughing Dean? I don't fine the notion of a person staying in an abusive relationship to be funny nor is being alone funny either......

WADR MizP we can't be joking about some subjects and deathly serious about others. This is the sandbox after all. We are mostly irreverent about mostly everything.

What is 'WADR.....GOM???? He can say whatever the hell he likes - I am just remarking that for some of us those two things are not funny and in light of some recent events some of us are definitely not laughing......

Especially since some of us have to spend money we do not have in order to ensure that we are treated right...man, to win a hundred thousand, ten thousand even, that would put a smile on my tired face.

If I won, I would invite all the Sandbox members over for a barbeque, and serve filet mignon and Crown royal, and offer hand rolled Honduran cigars!

If I won $50 million (of which a substantial amount would be gone due to taxes, right?), in all honesty, I'd probably try to continue living a fairly middle-class life either here in Canada or somewhere else in the world, supporting my parents and my family, and bank the rest for a while before deciding what to do with it.

If I won 50 mil, I'd be torn...

Do I spend it building my satellite weaponry, (either lasers, or kinetic bombardment a la Project Thor), or do I simply travel Europe, buying a condo in each of my favourite towns?

Canadian lotteries are not taxed but perhaps the money made off of the interest on that prize would be taxed?

Income is taxed, so the smart idea would not to try and collect any interest on the money! lol
The winnings are tax free, but usually come with hundredes of long lost relatives and friends and people who want to be your friend.

MizP and holly.. can you guys follow a thread?

GC was the one who made the "joke" I was playing along. so STICK IT. I can make fun of whatever I want. If you were/are being abused get some help as in police or therapist. Dont expect me or damn near anyone else on the internet to be all touchy feeling with you.

I love the part in today's Freep where they talk about trying to order a dozen pre-fab houses this past Sunday and being told that the company won't be open on Sunday.
"But Marie Fontaine said a company that builds ready-to-move homes in Winnipeg and trucks them elsewhere wouldn't open on Sunday.
"I said, 'My name is Marie Fontaine, and I'm sorry, I'll take my business elsewhere,'" she said Tuesday, breaking into a grin.
"I was prepared to buy at least 10 to 12 houses on the spot. I said, 'Just remember my name.' I think he just didn't believe it was us.
"I don't want the power, I just wanted to get stuff going."
Looks like it's already going to their heads, eh?

I'd chalk it up to the novelty of being Nouveau Riche. Although, if it were my company, I'd open the doors on a Sunday if it meant moving that kind of volume in one shot (and, assuming we didn't have our own trucks, could find a freight company open on Sunday).
