You are going to have to repaint the door. No way around that at this stage. (You could have wiped the paint off if it was still wet...only then would you be able to get away without repainting I believe).
Yeah, I figured as much. Unfortunately it was tagged in the middle of the night/early morning...so I didn't notice until the following morning when I drove out and watched the garage door close in my mirror...and a lovely morning it was!
I'll re-paint it in the spring, when it's starting to get warmer out. For now, I'll live with some dull-ness in the finish. Good thing it's in the back where no one really looks, or care how it looks.

I'm not sure what kind of security system I could install....I've already got a house alarm, which the detached garage is part of.
From the garage door, to the start of the back lane, I've got about 5'-6' of cement pad...and a fence that covers off the parking pad and the rest of the back yard.
The only thing I could get away with, would be to install a motion light...which would just get smashed with out a doubt....
Nothing (short of constant vigilance) that will stop tagging.....
The Ed209 tho....now that would make one hell of a difference! Good call!
