This is utter nonsense. We already have the CBC. We don't need an "mbc" to add to the cash drain out of our pockets into the NDP coffers.

Shaw does more local public programming then all of the other stations (including the CBC) combined.

and correct me if I am wrong but for the remote teaching network... dont we already have that as part of cable?

Utter nonsense? We already have the Museum of Man and Nature. Seems like we don't need a human rights museum when they could put an exhibit in that museum. Damn NDP always trying to drain cash out of our pockets.
Oh, for once, can we just have something for Manitoba? All the good provinces have their amenities, so why can't we have one here, just for once? It's our turn.

I don't know much about how effective the other provincial broadcasters are. It could possibly be a good idea, or just a waste of money.
