Nothing is changing hands ATM... It looks to be in favour of Mccain... Hopefully, Obama gets Florida and Ohio....

Compare that to the election so far...
http://www.cnn.com/ELECTION/2008/results/president/
Almost ALL of the rest of the votes go to McCain as there are only 4 states left for the DEMs... Hopefully, Ohio and Florida go to the DEMs. There are still a very high number of votes that aren't counted yet in those places...

When will we follow suit and declare Obama the winner?
Well I hope he would at least run in an election here before we pronounce him our leader...

Probably as soon as the bills come payable and Doer now won't have the money . Which is around the corner form now, Feds are cutting off his allowance. Say goodbye BRT more then likely will be surprised if it survives the cut backs in Ottawa.

They're not cutting off his allowance at all. In fact, he got an increase. What Evil Doer must do is begin preparing for the day when the allowance not only drops but disappears altogether. For all the unionists and NDPers out there be prepared for a very ugly time if they don't and you keep voting that party in.

We must be prepared to sacrifice before we turn the good ship Manitoba around. Or we better find a lot of oil...

I thought that Doer was complaining, just yesterday, that his transfer payment was frozen at the same level as last year.

Say good bye to the stadium and museum methinks.

Well...it's basically over...I doubt the military vote can change anything...those votes will be coming in for another couple of weeks.

Personally...I'd recommend for everyone to go buy stock in Kentucky Fried Chicken....cause if Obama does what he says he's going to do...he's going to steal money from all the "rich white folk" and give it all to the welfare degenerates...and when they get all that new-found money...you KNOW they're going to have a big party!!!

I don't have the stats J2T, but as I understand it there are three pools of transfer payments we receive. 1 is less than a billion if'n I'm not mistaken. That one is "stalled". Two other federal transfer payments -- the health and social transfers
-- will rise next year as Ottawa promised. That will give Manitoba
roughly an extra $98 million to spend.

Right on. Let's start sacrificing that which we do not need in favour of that which we do need.
Sacrifice the human rights museum. We don't need it.

I have a bad feeling that he won't last his 4 years. So far there have been 2 foiled attempts to assassinate him. Me thinks there are too may racists still in the states. I guess time will tell.

And Triniman I agree we don't need that museum...that is a big waste of tax dollars.

Did Obama say he was planning on stealing from the "rich white folk"?

He said he was going to steal from anyone making over $250k (ok...he said tax...but it's the same thing).

Percentage wise...the HUGE majority of those making that amount of money are "white".

The one good thing about this election? Americans have finally once again said who they wanted as a leader.. none of this dicking around with chads and having recounts in one state or another or saying there were issues at the ballot box. About freaking time. Maybe there is hope for Canada in 4 years to.

Well..in the US it is.

If someone comes up to you in the street with a gun and says "give me your money, or else"...would you call that stealing?

So if someone gets into office and creates a tax and if you don't pay it, people with guns come and tell you to "give them your money, or else"...seems pretty much the same.

...but, what took the Americans 4 years (their campaign run-time) we did in a month. Wham Bam Thank You Mame ...Smile
