LOL!

Maybe he ran out of earning allowance for this EI period, so if he wants to continue building his reputation, he has to work for free!

Unfortunately, due to the financial crisis, I have had to cancel my planned summer projects - so I don't have any work for ya, HA.

Unless you want to pick dandelions.... what is the going rate for dandelion pickers?

my kids get 1 cent per dandelion..

lower then minimum wage for sure, but seeing as they are already breaking the law by working under age 15 I figure I got them over a barrel so I might as well take advantage of them

You pay them?
I just tell my daughter she should go pick some flowers for "mom"...and she comes in with about 100 dandelions. Of course...she's also come back with a few of the neighbor's flowers too (not dandelions) Wink.

DeanK might have earned money as a kid the same way I did, him being a farm boy too. The local town office gave us a nickel for every gopher tail we turned in. My Dad wouldn't buy us traps so we made do with a shovel and pail of water... dump the bucket into the gophers front door while one of my brothers waited at the back door with the shovel high over his head, as the gopher charged out you gave it a sound whack with the shovel, and bingo.... you had a nickel!

after enough nickles you could afford the pellet gun Smile
Which was desperately needed as the gophers were too far away from a water source so the way we caught them was with snares made out of used bale twine.

ok, hopefully I wake up early, then I'm headed to the YMCA to workout. Then it should be 2:30 at the very latest. I'll stop by and give you a hand.

FYI, I am once again available to help out during the weekend. If anyone needs the lawn cut, landscaping work, construction, etc, I am more than happy to help.
