I think city employees are off today. What about the province? My kids have no school (RRC and U of W)

For those who do work today, do you get some sort of extra day off? We are entitled to an additional paid day off to be taken at some point during the year. Others?

speaking of not working... that sure throws off the garbage days. fricken HELL... 10 days between garbage pick ups with those bins and such. My 3 Blue boxes are already full and my next garbage pick up in not for another week yet.

Dean, I just went to Garden City mall and dumped a load of recyclables. They have a huge recycling depot. Paper/plastic/containers and cardboard.

I am working also. Easy day though, first aid re-certification. I'm on a 2 and a half hour lunch break!

His first name is Ben, not sure of his last name or what company he works for. It Red Cross Emergency first aid CPR/AED level A.
