oh man it was that long ago wasn't it? I remember debating the proposed changes in law class in high school. Me and a couple other people were the against table... hmmm.. I wonder if I could find that somewhere buried in my old school books it would be a hoot to see if we were on the mark for any of the reasons why it was bad.

Probably but chief one in my opinion was if you do wrong there has to be a consequence . This act took away the fear of the law . and absolved the parent by lack of disclosure .

The other part is to deal with abuse of childrean and how it is dealt with . Which I don't want to get into .

I recall the debate being focused on rehabilitation with nary a word about the victims.

And don't forget, the Liberals were masters at giving their friends jobs, and in this case, jobs 'rehabing' kids....and that worked out well eh.

That is the biggest part of the problem it became babysitting . hence why I got out of youth justice and went to other ventures.

Yes but he could bolt when out for a walk in the neighborhood supervised as he needs to integrated with society or some thing like that , isn't that what excuse they will use.
When they announce he walked away from his handler .
