I almost got a ticket from one of these for $365!! but they couldn't prove %100 that it was my car.

just what fraction of the speed of light were you traveling that they could not tell it was your car?

I was going to ask the same question.
The ticket can't get issued if they can't read your license plate in the photo.
If they can...they mail it to the registered owner.

When I first got my car in march of 2006. MPI did not have any info on it. so I had to drive it on 7 day permits. so i had no plates on the car, just the permit on the front window. so they had a picture of a back of a car that was a dark colour at night with no plates. so they mailed it to me because I had the only 2007 honda civic in the city at that time. but no other proof that it was my car. The judge took a quick look at the photo and ruled in my favor.

That's not good anyway...you don't want a "hidden" plate, you want a changed plate.

Maybe cut a plate in half and have it flip up or down using the bottom or top 1/2 of a second plate.

So the numbers might be similar, but not identical for identification.

Just make sure you have the "fake" plate displayed when you run the camera light Smile).

this device can easily be adapted to provide the service you are looking for, however displaying a fake plate at any time is illegal to the distributors of this device would not make that claim.

Just get like a LCD screen that is a simular size to a plate and mount it in there... then you could have anything you want there.. heck you could have a picture of a middle finger... that would make an good shot for a speed cam. lol

heh they have license plate holders that you can purchase that have an LED board on that you can display whatever message you want.. comes with a remote for typing in the messages.

I have seen that on a couple cars here in the city... the only problem is that the screen is pretty small. I had to tail the hell out of them to read it. lol

LOL the orginial ones ran when you were driving.. apparently thats a no no.. the updated version only runs when you have your foot on the brake pedal.
