We were going to take the kids if ticket prices were reasonable. 4 tickets at 165.00 a piece is not reasonable. I am going to be off work (medical leave) for 6-8 weeks starting Feb 3rd, and spending alot of cash right now isn't feasible.

I couldn't find seats that I liked during any of the presales. The best that I could find were row 20. I wanted floor seats, but unless your ten rows or closer, it's hard to see their faces clearly, unless they have large video screens.

On my first try, I had row 9. A few tries later, row 3. You can buy "Platinum" seats in row 1 for $675 a pair. Row 3 are $499 a pair.

I didn't get tickets. I had an expensive pet emergency yesterday and couldn't justify spending close to $400.00 for tickets. I look forward to your review Triniman!

Might as well Jump, GC! You might be able to win some tix on the radio. Or LD might surprise you for Mother's Day?

Good luck with your pet.

I don't have pets, but I'm impressed by the work of D'Arcy's A.R.C. (Animal Rescue Centre), so I sent them a donation a few days ago. I do love animals and theirs is a no-kill shelter. Friends have scored their dogs from there.

I have a cat who is 13 yrs old and she now has hyperthyroidism and needs medication.

I wanted to see VH but $165.00 seems really high especially since I paid less for Roger Waters tix.

You are to be commended for not spending big bucks to see Eddie shirtless!

I can't even pronounce "hyperthyroidism."

I knew it wouldn't sell out same day. The ticket prices are ridiculous.

Prince didn't sell out, either. Tickets ended up going for, what, $20 each.

Roger Waters sold out the first show quickly with the best seats $50 more than what Van Halen are charging. Plenty of floor seats for the second Waters show. Will he play to a partially filled venue or will they drop ticket prices to get more bums in the seats, like they did for Prince?

The market is fluid and dynamic. What works for one group in this market, may not work for another.

Wouldn't surprise me if that's what happens.

Might as well jump.
