"A Different Kind Of Truth" is now officially confirmed to arrive on February 7 via Interscope.

The deluxe-edition version of the CD will contain a bonus DVD featuring four brand new acoustic performance videos.

The first single and music video from "A Different Kind Of Truth", called "Tattoo", will arrive next Tuesday (January 10).

Not sure the pricing for Winnipeg yet, but if it's similar to Montreal:

That was the third time I heard this today and I didn't hate it as much as I did the first time so I guess it's growing on me.

I preferred the Hagar Van Halen. Sammy could sing, Dave just talks

If an unsigned band had this song on their demo, they would get laughed at rather than signed to a recording contract. It's so bad. But this is what happens when you have a really big band and a producer just happy to be well-paid to make an album with them. He's not going to demand they re-write or drop crappy songs like this one. Same thing happended with Metallica and even U2. Black Sabbath are recording with the biggest producer in the world (Rick Rubin) precisely so that they won't end up with crappy songs but we shall see.

Van Halen wouldn't be as famous if they started off with Sammy. Roth is better showman and it's their early records that made them legendary. Sammy is a better singer, though. He was awesome in the band that was almost a precursor to Van Halen, sound-wise - Montrose.

Just downloaded "Tattoo" off of iTunes. Great rocker, nice chorus, fantastic guitar solo.

I am torn in regards to the concert. When was the last time David Lee Roth went on a long tour? I'm worried his voice won't be up to it...

Hm. Shows you what I know! Looks like Roth has been touring with VH since 2007!
