man its a good thing that hog prices are very low right now.. other wise losing that many pigs might actually hurt a farmer.

It does seem a little suspicious doesn't it? It should be noted that Hutterites spend big bucks on technology for both productivity and safety. They do not do anything half-assed. They pay top dollar for the best technology and equipment available...

sure dont see any other industries barns burning so much.. then again it could be because we just have way more hog barns then any other barn type as well I guess and that increases our chances of seeing them happen. Why did we not have as many hog barn fires were hog values were triple what they are now?

It's a shame these farmers aren't approached by health-care companies.

Isn't a pig the closest thing to human when it comes to medical testing?

Instead of burning all these pigs alive...they should sell them to the medical testing laboratories. Probably much more human than the BBQ...and they can make tons of money from the pharmaceuticals.

Good outcome, wrong reasons. Calling it swine flu might give a false sense of security to those that avoid pork.

say.. wait a minute... does this mean that Since Jewish people call it Mexican flu... not swine flu... and everyone knows that swine are pigs... Are the Jewish people telling us all Mexicans are pigs? Or that its now okay for us non Jews to eat Mexicans ( the other other other white meat i guess )
