I don't believe you are thinking this through clearly. The Leafs are a universally despised team, save for a few die-hard lunatics. What better way to ring out an old year then to beat the bejesus outta the arrogant Burke/Wilson run Leafs?

But why would I want to spend NYE (or any eve for that matter) with a bunch of lunatic Leaf fans who are still thinking that their team has a hope to win the Cup??? Sure I would love to see our new team beat the crap out of the Leafs, I think that our UofM Bison team could do that. But why spoil NYE??? There will be other opportunities to see THAT team but NYE only happens but once a year!!!
