So, Bruins! Take home the Cup!

It would be nice if the Canadian team won, but I think that the Americans may be stronger and prevail against the home ice advantage.

There are 17 Canadians on each team.

While they have an equal number of Canadians on ice, Boston has less americans on ice.. AND... Boston has more Canadians in the off ice portion of the team.

AND Boston is the only team with a player who was Born in Vancouver on it.

so.. you want Canadians to win.. Cheer Boston

The Bruins deserved this victory. Vancouver played chippy right to the bitter end. The sedin sisters disappeared all series long. Ditto Kesler, who could not score to save his life. Luongo was a sieve in the four losses.

The loss looks good on the canucks.

And the Bruins won without two of their very best players: Norton and Savard.

Shoulda started Schneider. The Sedins did their best Houdini act. Can't be too hard on Kesler. Rumor is the guy was playing injured. Overall, Boston just wanted it more and played harder. Tim Thomas was awesome. They deserved the win. Good on them.

The teams seemed mis-matched imo.

Very exciting hockey as usual. The Boston team were way better than Vancouver. The Vancouver team had no offence at all! What was the Sedin line, -5?? and 1 goal!

I watched both the Bruins and the Canucks all season long....as it was my first season buying Centre Ice, so it was very cool to watch both teams make it to the final.

Boston was by far the better team, built for the playoffs with depth in every position. Even that useless Toronto trash Kabrle contributed after it looked like he was going to be a ghost.

Poor Rask, he was the only backup in the playoffs who never touched game ice....Timmy Thomas was a huge difference maker.

i don't think vancouver had a chance to win...no matter where the players are from...it just seemed too "rigged" of a series.

How many 7-game-series were in this playoffs? what are the odds of that happening? And who really makes the money for the 7-games? the NHL

So I can see talks behind-the-scenes from guys like Bettman saying "if your series goes 7...we'll give you a "bonus" to the players...
So a missed shot here, a missed shot there.

It was quite telling in the game last night...I don't know players names...but it was a Vancouver guy received the puck RIGHT in front of the net...I mean less than 6' from the goalie...NOONE between him and the goal BUT the goalie...and rather than simply take a shot...he fiddled around with it long enough for THREE Bruins to get between him and the goal..and then he lost the puck.

Now I don't care who you are...you're in the finals, you're down by two...and you suddenly get a puck in front of the net...YOU TAKE THE SHOT!!!
