I am for this.

However smoking on patios really should be banned. Nothing is worse than eating a meal next to a smoker turning around to exhale because he doesn't want to disturb his friend only to blow the smoke at my table.

Another place that smoking should be banned is at bus stops.

I could care less about parks and playgrounds. Those areas are generally big enough that I can enjoy them without being forced to stand/sit to close to a smoker.

agreed. but that wont be enforced even if passed. Most of the downtown bus shelters have smoking people in them and I dont think a single ticket has ever been issued for it.
