Some classmates/friends were tabling at university today and apparently had over three hundred pieces of paper filled out about water issues.
No idea what this was for and what that will do.. but I smiled and congratulated.

Good thing Harper just "happened" to be in Rome anyway, for that diabetes awareness marathon. I wonder how many delegates were with him?
But anywho, now that the Pope is on it, I guess that takes care of it. (Never realized that Harper was such a devout Catholic?)

A new Lycos poll has shown that 87% of Canadians have had it with aboriginal complaints/ stories about how bad things are on their reserves.
It is really upsetting to me personally, that The Harper Government has done so little to make things liveable on these reserves.
The whole situation is an embarassment for Canada and its treatment of underprivileged , as well as the treatment of "old age citizens!
We are lucky that the U.N. doesn't get together and pass a "bomb them to hell" legislation!
