Cops out of their cars and walking around will work wonders.

Beat cops are what we need, but, because of our fu ucken unions we've got this reactionary force that does sh it top prevent crime.

I never believed that. It was in fact Jenny's plan.

You seem to have suggested that what she meant was having cops sitting and doing zilch on every corner.

I always assumed her plan was to have more cops walking the beat, which she referred to as a cop on every corner.
I am all in favor of cops walking the beat, like they do in every other major city.
Very rare that I ever see cops walking anywhere downtown

But it was not her plan.. And that was part of the problem. Once she realized how dumb that plan was, she never took the time to correct herself, she just let people assume that is what she meant all the time.

It WAS Her Plan!!! Putting a COP ON EVERY CORNER!!! As she put it on her web page! She even went further in an interview where she then added they should do it while wearing the old style BUFFALO COATS they used to wear 50-60 years ago! She is a wingnut! She always was a wingnut! She would say ANYTHING to get elected and them would have sat on camera and pouted "They won't let me do it!"

City Councillors, and even the Mayor have NO CONTROL over where the cops go. The Mayor said it outright and the Chief did as well! Motkaluk was an opportunistic Conservative in PINK clothing(strange that Pink was also the color in October for Freast Cancer wasn't it?) who thank god never won! Is Eadie going to be better? We have already seen how he IS NOT!

That would be the assumption. As a matter of fact, every candidate basically said the same thing in one shade or another. Mine was, drive them out of town and drop them off. they come back , do it again, and out you go. Keep doing it and we'll keep driving you out further.

In the end, it all means, we citizens are frustrated that cops can't do their work since our legal system has some flaws when it comes to dealing with perps.
