Winnipeg's median family income $70,510
from today's Winnipeg Free Press

WINNIPEG — Winnipeg had 19th highest median total family income among 33 Canadian cities in 2008, according to new data issued today.

Statistics Canada said data derived from 2008 personal income tax returns show Winnipeg families had a median income of $70,510 for that year — the same as families in Windsor, Ont.

Calgary had the highest median family income at $91,570, with Edmonton ($88,190), Ottawa-Gatineau ($87,160), Oshawa ($83,220) and Guelph ($81,910) rounding out the Top 5.

I love the comment about not using math to derive figures. Might as well just put an ' I'm the stupidest person you'll meet this week' sticker on their forehead.
