Pretty bad accident. Traffic messed up fairly bad as one you get there... there really are no side streets. Cops were backing buses up and such.


Been wondering when we would get a bad accident there. The intersection is so completely messed up from construction and people are ignoring the signs that say.. NO TURNING ALLOWED.

I know the work has to be done as part of twinning the road, but for christs sake.. its a MAJOR intersection for the area. Its been messed up for way to long. It should have been worked on first, quickly and been done and then construction could have continued on the either sides.

The City has full confidence that the majority of Winnipeggers will blame that accident on "idiot Winnipeg drivers". Just slow down. Blah blah blah.

Someone probably went through one of our 4 second amber lights, that if it was 5 seconds there would have been a 72% chance there would have been no accident.
I wonder if there will be a class action lawsuit of 72% of drivers caught in an amber light accident, since, I believe that the City might be liable because the City were advised of that probability.
