It's game day!

Should be a good game, Buck Pierce is starting at QB tonight for the Bombers. It's also the 70's Retro game tonight.


I'll be there tonight with the wife in section T, who else is going?

I split seasons with a friend. Section V Row 8. Tonight is not my game. That said, with rain in the forecast, the game on HD from the comfort of my house is most appealing. I think I'll add to that great appeal by ordering in pie.

Yikes. How awful was that?

This is just simply an atrocious performance in every facet of the game. Until this game I had confidence in the Bombers game that they could win. Not today.

Well the Bombers played like crap, but I still had a good time none the less. Beer was cold and the weather was perfect.

Pierce is a good QB. They might have brought him back too soon. They did keep him in too long.

The secondary looks feeble with one exception. The O-Line is porous. Defensive coaching is officially suspect.

I disagree about Pierce. He just cannot get the team together...the hardest job for a QB.

Defense and O-Line issues were really lit up in last night's game. The team really has some work to do. If there was any doubt that this year wasn't going to be a growing pains year, it's being erased as we speak. A few more changes are definitely needed, and then spend the rest of the season becoming a team. Maybe we can still have a run at the playoffs. Let's say this is all done properly now. We'll have something special come next year. New coaches, many new players, new management. We can't be too hard on the team this year considering what's happened.

Once we get injured players back, hopefully will be better. Although I agree, sounds like either secondary is really, really bad or play calling in secondary in limited to prevent style plays.

My lingering question though is were the refs paid off? and by who? That was by far the worst case of officiating I have ever seen. We could have dressed the refs for pee wee football and they would have done better.

I like the Bombers, but as a league, the CFL is pretty bush. 4 out of the first 7 games against the same team, this isn't a 3 team league - WTF? playoff tiebreaker decided before half season? And Hamilton might be celebrating, but when your wins all come against one team ( injured and rebuilding ), that doesn't give you a litmus test for anything.

We definetly lost a TD because we used up our challenge flags.

Absolutely agree....bush league officiating.

Here is a question. The TSN guys said that one of PHilip Hunt's roughing the passer penalties was the first they saw for 'Talking'. What happened? I saw the first and the one where he touched Glenn's toe, but what was the one for talking?
