We should get the refs phone numbers listed, especially the one that missed an offside. how can you miss an offside? was thet ref from Quebec? We need to know!

This is just another money maker for the CFL. They send out shitty refs who make terrible, game altering calls, then fine anyone who complains about it. What crap!

Love Doug Brown's column, well said and does not actually point fingers at any one ref or league for that matter. And he hits the nail on the head. He also was not fined for this column because he did not name names.

Doug may have also been able to lay out some criticism in the article because when he did so, it was as Doug Brown the columnist, and not Doug Brown the football player. Paul Lapolice didn't name anyone either, but still was slapped with a 1k fine.

But LaPolice was talking directly about the game that took place on Friday night where Doug was speaking in general about all ref/officails/umpires. He did associate himself with the CFL and "our team's outbursts" so he walked that very fine line and got lucky this time. He may not be so lucky next time.
